Course Development

We work closely with our partner CUBO and contacts from across the HE sector to develop our courses and programmes. Our experience allows us to understand the key drivers for training and development and we continue to bring new courses based on emerging trends and feedback from our delegates.

Our Pricing Strategy

As a not-for-profit company our prices are carefully chosen to ensure maximum value for participants and cover the operational running costs. Our course fees include refreshments during the day, all materials and training costs. It is our policy to hold courses at academic venues wherever possible, unless we are working with an external partner to deliver specific topic-related content.

Bookings

Bookings and payments are made online, by using the ‘Book Place’ button.  Upon booking, a confirmation email is sent. If you do not have access to your institution’s credit card, please contact UHS on 0114 222 8983/8905 or email information@universityhospitality.co.uk

Business Terms

We have a few simple terms of business to ensure we operate effectively on your behalf. We regret that once we have accepted your reservation either by online payment or by sending you an invoice and allocating you a place on a course, we are unable to make a refund if you subsequently cancel. You are welcome to substitute another colleague if you cannot attend. When you send in your reservation form you agree that you will pay our fee invoice. We have to make these conditions because we contract with the venue and the presenter. UHS offers courses at the best value for money and cannot therefore offer refunds. However, if we are oversubscribed for the course, we can try to resell your place on your behalf. We will make a charge of £25.00 if you ask us to do this and we are able to do so.
