Our pricing strategyAs a not for profit company our prices have been carefully chosen to ensure maximum value for seminar participants. Our seminar fees include refreshments during the day, all seminar materials and training costs. It is the policy of UhS to hold its seminars at academic venues. Winter 2011 to Summer 2012 Our programme for autumn 2011 is now concluded. In the New Year the organisation of the UhS programme will pass, subject to our shareholders’ approval, to colleagues in the University of Sheffield. They plan to continue and to expand the programme of UhS seminars and workshops. They will email everyone on the UhS mailing list when the new programme is available. The table below lists three provisional topics held over from 2011 which are still to be confirmed and to which other courses will be added.
The fees above do not include VAT, which will be added at the current rate. ReservationsPlease click on the Booking Form button above. We prefer on-line reservations which we will acknowledge without delay or you can print the form and complete it later and then fax or post it. We try to acknowledge receipt of all reservations as quickly as possible. Business TermsWe regret that once we have accepted your reservation by sending you an invoice and allocating you a place on a seminar, we are not able to make a refund if you subsequently cancel. You are welcome to substitute another colleague if you cannot come. When you send in your reservation form you agree that you will pay our fee invoice. We have to make these conditions because UhS contracts with the venue and the presenter. UhS offers its seminars at best value for money and cannot therefore make refunds. If we are oversubscribed we can try to resell your place on your behalf. We will make a charge of £25.00 plus vat if you ask us to do this and we are able to do so.
